Tutorials
A tutorial is a lesson: you follow it from the first step to the last, on a site you can safely experiment on, and you finish with something that works.
- Your first certification — create a certification, attach a course to it, and set the expiry warning. About 15 minutes.
- Reading the compliance picture — take a site with real people in it and answer the three questions a compliance manager asks.
When you need one specific job done rather than a lesson, go to the how-to guides. When you want to know what a word means, go to Concepts.
Before you start
You need:
- LOOP installed on a Moodle site — see Install LOOP;
- an account that can manage certifications: a site administrator has this, and so does anybody granted the
local/loop:managecapability (see Capabilities); - an active licence, because creating a certification is a change — see Activate the licence;
- at least one Moodle course you can attach, with completion tracking switched on.
