Tutorials

A tutorial is a lesson: you follow it from the first step to the last, on a site you can safely experiment on, and you finish with something that works.

When you need one specific job done rather than a lesson, go to the how-to guides. When you want to know what a word means, go to Concepts.

Before you start

You need:

  • LOOP installed on a Moodle site — see Install LOOP;
  • an account that can manage certifications: a site administrator has this, and so does anybody granted the local/loop:manage capability (see Capabilities);
  • an active licence, because creating a certification is a change — see Activate the licence;
  • at least one Moodle course you can attach, with completion tracking switched on.
