Recompute a validity window
The Certification history page lists every certificate ever issued, with the window it covers. One action on a row changes a single certificate, and it is recorded in the action log.
It is the audited version of something the nightly rebuild also does. A projection keeps every window on the certification's current validity period without saying so, because it is maintaining a value it derives. This action does it to one certificate you chose, now rather than tonight, and records the window it replaced.
Find the certificate
Open LOOP → Certification history, or the History tab of one certification. Narrow the list with the filters:

Recompute it
Use this when one certificate should follow the current validity period now — before tonight's rebuild, or with a record of what its window used to say.
- On the row, choose Actions → Recompute validity.
- Confirm. The window is worked out again from the certification's current settings.
It needs an active licence: it writes to a compliance record. Reading and exporting the register never do — see What the licence covers.
Both the old and the new value are kept in the site log (Site administration → Reports → Logs), which is the only place the old one survives. If the window already matches the current settings, nothing changes and the page says so.
To bring many certificates in line at once, use Recalculate stored dates: it measures every window against the current configuration, counts what would move in a preview, and applies the lot. What it does not do is record the window each one used to hold — that is what this row action adds, one certificate at a time.
