Site settings
Site administration → Plugins → Local plugins → LOOP → Settings. Every setting has a working default; a new installation needs none of them changed.

General
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum retry attempts | 3 | How many times sending a notification email is attempted before it is given up on and marked Error. Retries are one hour apart. |
| Default hard deadline | empty | A DD/MM value pre-filled into the form when you create a new certification. Empty means no default. It does not change certifications that already exist. |
There is nothing here about importing
Two settings used to decide whether an import deleted whatever the file did not mention. They are gone, and so is the behaviour: a configuration file has no way to say remove this, so there is nothing to configure. An upgrade removes the stored values, and a certification is deleted from the Manage certifications page, where the number of people it affects is shown first. See Import and export the configuration.
Licensing
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Licensing server URL | your provider's service | The service LOOP activates and validates against. Override it only for an on-premise or staging licensing server. Must be HTTPS. |
Activation itself happens on the License page, not here.
Monthly manager reports
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Enable monthly manager reports | On | Send each manager a monthly compliance summary on the 1st of each month. |
| Fallback manager emails | empty | Addresses, one per line, that receive the report for certifications with no manager emails of their own. Also used as the last fallback for any notice addressed to the Manager. Empty means those certifications are skipped. |
The report is one row per certification: how many people are valid, expiring, overdue and pending, with the certifications needing attention first. It counts people rather than naming them — a manager address is an address typed into this form, and nothing verifies that it belongs to anybody, so the names stay behind the capability that guards them.
Two links at the foot of the email download the whole list, every certification in one file, as CSV or Excel: one row per person with the certification, the status and the dates. Both require signing in with permission to see the compliance record, and the file arrives straight after. Each certification name in the table also links to its own status page.
Audit trail retention
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymised history retention (years) | 7 | How many years an anonymised certification history row is kept after a GDPR erasure before it is deleted permanently. Set to 0 to keep anonymised rows indefinitely. |
See The audit trail for what anonymising means.
