Pages and columns
Everything LOOP adds sits under Site administration → Plugins → Local plugins → LOOP, and the same entries appear as a menu at the top of every LOOP page.

A link to a page you cannot open is not shown at all. See Capabilities.
Every list except the Home dashboard has filters above it, and Rows per page below it — 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 or 500, shown only when the list is longer than ten rows. A list starts at ten rows, except Reports sent, which starts at twenty-five: a monthly report per certification is a short list, and paging it ten at a time hid last quarter. The choice travels with the paging links and lasts as long as you stay on the page; leaving and coming back starts at 10 again. User status, Certification history, Message logs and Reports sent also have Download table data as below the table, exporting exactly what the filters select in CSV, Excel, HTML, JSON, ODS or PDF. The mail queue and the list of notices have no download control: the queue is work in progress, and the notices are exported as text with Export notification texts.
Manage certifications
Above the table: Add certification, an Export configuration menu with one entry per delimiter, and Import configuration. The export is always available; the other two need a working licence, like every write.
Import configuration is three steps — choose the file, read what it would change, confirm — and the middle one lists every change as a sentence, grouped by certification. Nothing is written until the confirmation. See Import and export the configuration.
Home
Three coverage figures — Covered, In progress, Out of compliance — followed by the headcount they are drawn from, then two severity chips (Expiring, Overdue), then two tabs.
Per certification: Certification name, Expiring, Overdue, Issues, Actions.
Per user: Full name, Certification name, Status, Since, Actions.
Each tab carries its own row count and pages independently.
The certification tab strip
Opening one certification gives five tabs: Details, Editions, Messages, User status and History. Details, Editions and Messages need manage; User status needs viewuserstatus; History needs viewreports.
Editions
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Order | Position in the renewal sequence. Only its rank among the other editions of the same certification matters. |
| Course | The Moodle course, with its shortname. |
| Visibility | Visible, Current (the most advanced visible one) or Hidden, read from the course's visibility. |
| Chaining method | Manual, ID Number or Custom field. |
| Parameter | The pattern the row matched. Empty for Manual. |
| Actions | Edit and Delete, for editions linked by hand. An edition LOOP recognised from a course has none: clear the code from the course instead. |
User status
The person, Status, Since, Current edition, Enrolled at, Completion due date, Issuing course, Issued date, Expiration date, Reminder, Actions. The first column carries Moodle's sortable First name / Last name header; a download replaces it with four columns — surname, first name, email address and ID number — so the file can be matched against a personnel system outside Moodle. ID number is Moodle's own user field and is empty unless your site fills it in: where it is, it is the column to match on, and where it is not, the email address is all the file has. Described in Compliance statuses.
The page lists the people the organisation has: somebody whose Moodle account has been suspended or deleted is not listed, because they cannot complete a course and no notice can reach them. That is the same population the three figures above the table count and the same one the notices are sent to. What they were certified for stays on Certification history.
The Reminder column shows whether an email for this row is queued, sent or failed. Filters: certification, status, Period measured on (expiration or completion due date), date range and edition, plus Moodle's own first-name and last-name initial bars above the table.
Certification history
Full name, Certification name, Course, Order, Issued date, Expiration date, Actions.
Action on a row: Recompute validity — see Recompute a validity window.
Filters: certification, Period measured on (expiration or issued date), date range and anonymised records, plus the initial bars.
All messages
Message name, Certifications, Trigger event, Timing, Recipient, Translations, Delivery, Status, Actions.
- Timing reads Immediately, N days after the event, or Set on each certification.
- Translations shows one badge per language: green where a translation exists, yellow where none does. Yellow does not mean the notice fails to send.
- Delivery shows when this notice was last sent, and flags recent errors.
- Actions: Edit, Send a test to myself, and a switch to disable it.
Above the table: Export notification texts and Import notification texts.
Mail queue
Subject, the person, Scheduled time, Status, Retries, Actions. The person's column carries Moodle's sortable First name / Last name header, as it does on every list here that names people.
That person is the employee the notice is about, and not necessarily its recipient: a queued notice has no recipient yet, because the address is resolved when it is sent — from the certification's manager addresses, or from the person's own account.
Status is Pending or Error. Actions on a row: Send and Delete. The initial bars are above the table, as on the other lists that name people.
Message logs
Subject, Person concerned, Sent to email, Sent to role, Sent at, Status, Error, Actions.
Person concerned is who the notice is about; Sent to email is where it went. For a notice addressed to the Manager these are two different people. The action on a row is Resend.
Reports sent
Period, Sent to, Certifications, Out of compliance, Status, Sent at.
A row marked Fallback address went to the site-wide fallback rather than to anybody named on the certification.
Who changed what
Not a LOOP page. Creating a certification, changing an edition, recomputing the validity window of a certificate, rewriting a notice, sending a test and every licence action raise standard Moodle events, and land in Site administration → Reports → Logs. Filter by component LOOP.
That report has its own filters, its own export, and its own retention setting (Keep logs for), which is why LOOP keeps no second copy — see The audit trail.
