Information on the use of cookies and similar technologies, provided under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines of 10 June 2021, applicable to users located in Italy, as well as under the Swiss FADP.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit store in your browser and that are sent back to the site on subsequent visits. Similar technologies are other means of storing information on, or gaining access to information already stored in, your device, such as the browser’s local storage and session storage.
Cookies are first-party when set by the website being visited and third-party when set from a different domain; by duration, they are session cookies, deleted when the browser is closed, or persistent cookies, kept until the stated expiry.
2. Cookies used by this website
The Loop website pages published at plugins.dl-p.ch use technical cookies only, necessary to deliver the service requested by the user and to protect the contact form from automated submissions. No profiling, marketing, analytics or audience measurement cookies are installed, whether first- or third-party.
| Name | Origin | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| i18n_redirected | First party (plugins.dl-p.ch) | Stores the language selected by the user so it can be applied on later visits. | 12 months |
| cf_chl_* / cf_clearance (where set) | Third party (challenges.cloudflare.com — Cloudflare, Inc.) | Allow the Turnstile service to verify that the contact form submission comes from a human rather than an automated system. Set only when the check runs. | Session, or a duration defined by Cloudflare, typically no longer than 30 minutes |
The Turnstile widget may also use the browser’s local storage and session storage to keep the verification outcome while the form is being filled in. None of the information collected is used to build profiles or for advertising purposes.
3. Third-party services
The only third-party service loaded by the website is Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc. and Cloudflare Ireland Ltd), used as the anti-bot system for the contact form: the browser downloads a script from challenges.cloudflare.com and transmits to the provider the IP address, browser characteristics and page interaction signals. That processing, including the safeguards applicable to transfers to the United States, is described in the Privacy Policy.
There are no social plugins, embedded videos, maps, remote fonts or third-party content delivery networks: images and fonts are served from the website’s own domain.
5. How to manage or disable cookies
You can block or delete cookies already stored at any time through your browser settings. Up-to-date instructions are available in the support pages of the main browsers:
- Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop
- Apple Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/sfri11471
- Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge (cookies and site permissions section)
Because the cookies used are technical, blocking them may impair the website: in particular the selected language will not be remembered and the contact form may fail the anti-spam check, preventing the request from being sent.
Data stored in local storage and session storage can be cleared, in most browsers, from the same section used to clear browsing data.
6. Data controller and rights
The data controller is DL&P GmbH, registered office at Am Luchsgraben 17, 8051 Zurich, Switzerland, company identification and VAT number CHE-130.760.530 VAT. The Data Protection Officer is Achille Deodato (achille.deodato@dl-p.ch), who can also be contacted to exercise the rights under Articles 15 et seq. GDPR and Articles 25 et seq. FADP. The purposes, legal bases, retention periods and recipients of data collected through cookies are described in the Privacy Policy, of which this Cookie Policy forms an integral part.
7. Updates
This Cookie Policy may be updated if the cookies used or the applicable legislation change. The version in force, with its last-updated date, is always published on this page.
